Mike Wall says qualifying for the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Semi-Final would be a huge stepping stone for this team.
Kilkenny will secure their place in the Semi-Final of the All-Ireland Championship with victory over Wexford on Saturday week, and speaking to KCLR on last nights “The Way it is”, Mike says that qualifying for the last 4 would be a great achievement considering they have lost so much of last years panel……
“Yeah it is yeah, and fingers crossed the Seniors will get a win and get into the Semi-Final on Saturday”
“Hopefully, they will get the support that they deserve and win and get into an All-Ireland Semi-Final”
“We have Wexford in two weeks time and if we get over them, it will be a huge stepping stone for this team because we lost a huge amount of girls last year for one reason or another so we rebuilt this year”
“The girls came in have been absolutely brilliant, they have really brought in to what they are trying to achieve, and fingers crossed we can keep the momentum going against Wexford in two weeks”
