Kilkenny Intermediate Hurlers have held on to their Leinster crown after defeating Wexford by 1-26 to 1-8 at Nowlan Park last night.
Manager Anthony McCormack had to assemble a brand new squad this year having won the All Ireland last year and they had some impressive performers last night.
It’s Kilkenny’s third Leinster title in the space of 11 days and there was a lot to admire about the performance on the night.
Paul Holden was the goal scorer while Daragh Brennan helped himself to five points from play.
Centre back Cormac Fleming also chipped in with a couple of scores along with Sean Carey and many others also found the range.
Kilkenny will now push on to hopefully take home what could potentially be three possible All Ireland titles this year.
