Kilkenny Intermediate manager John Scott says they’re going to turn their attention now to a league quarter-final as it looks like they’ll qualify.

If Wexford beats Laois this coming weekend, Kilkenny will qualify out of the division two group.

Kilkenny got the better of Laois this weekend after losing to Wexford the week before but manager John Scott says the performances are there.

“Last week I think they actually probably played better than they did today (against Laois) but that was against Wexford’s first team who were very good and they’re trying to push it on down there and they played excellent,” said John.

“We were delighted actually to score the 14 points last week against their first team, but I thought today (against Laois) the girls in some parts upped it, especially in our backs we were very strong, I’m very pleased with that” he added.
