Kilkenny Senior Camogie Team missed out on a Leinster Final spot yesterday after a 2-19 to 2-9 loss at the hands of Wexford in New Ross.
Kilkenny trailed by 2-11 to 0-4 at half time and despite pegging back two goals in the second half it wasn’t enough as Wexford advanced.
The Leinster Intermediate Semi Final was an all local affair as Carlow took on Kilkenny in Thomastown.
Kilkenny led at the break after scoring 3 first half goals, however Carlow rallied in the second half and booked their place in the Leinster Intermediate Final against Meath on a scoreline of 2-11 to 3-6, just 12 months after winning the Leinster Junior Final.
