Kilkenny man Tim Corkery named on the Irish U20 squad for the Six Nations

Kilkenny man Tim Corkery named on the Irish U20 squad for the Six Nations

Kilkenny man Tim Corkery has been named on the Irish U20 squad for the Six Nations Championship in Cardiff.

The 34 man panel was named on Thursday by coach Richie Murphy with Tim being one of six players who are involved for a second season.

Ireland’s opening fixture is against Scotland at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday, 19th June (Kick-off 2pm).

They then face hosts Wales in Round 2 on Friday, 25th June (Kick-off 8pm).

Murphy’s side will then go head-to-head with England on Thursday, 1st July (Kick-off 8pm) and their Championship will conclude with ties against Italy on Wednesday, 7th July (Kick-off 2pm) and France on Thursday, 13th July (Kick-off 4.45pm).
