Pools star Gavan Holohan has committed his future to the Club by signing a new long term contract to keep him at Victoria Park until at least the end of 2021/22.
Initiatlly signed on a short term deal, the Kilkenny man has scored nine and assisted in seven goals. He celebrated putting pen to paper by getting the equalizer equalizer against Sutton United last weekend to earn his team a point.
The game itself was one of the last games to take place in England before the suspension of all football due to the coronavirus outbreak. Speaking to KCLR Sunday Scoreline Gavan never rule out an eventual return to the League of Ireland
“When I first moved back after I left Hull, I was back in Ireland for five years, I had moved home to get first team experience and get games under my belt but the aim was always to move back to the UK, so I suppose going forward I see myself in the UK , but never say never”
