Kilkenny Minor Hurling Selector Adrian Finan is delighted to get another crack at Galway after losing to them in the Round Robin Quarter-Final stage.
Speaking to KCLR, Adrian says that the victories in their last two games have given them great confidence ahead of Sunday’s Final.
“Yeah, well obviously we had a couple of difficult games since that Leinster Final. It was followed up with a match against Galway themselves in that first stage of that Round Robin back door thing and that was obviously a very difficult day for us as well and the lads have improved I suppose bit by bit since then and just thrilled to get another shot at Galway now.
“Surely, the Munster Championship is very even this year and Tipperary just about came out on top of that pack, and it’s satisfying from our perspective that we have developed since our own Leinster Final defeat and manage to put to bed both those two games against Limerick and Tipperary and that has certainly given the lads great confidence,” he said.
