Offaly is coming off a recent victory against Laois in the quarter-final last week, while Kilkenny hasn’t played a game in five weeks.
Despite this long break, Kilkenny’s manager Mark Dowling told KCLR that the five-week gap since their last game isn’t necessarily a disadvantage for his team.
Tune in to KCLR for all the full match commentary of Kilkenny vs. Offaly, this Wednesday at 7 pm.
“It’s great, it allows to get over a few knocks and niggles. It also allows us to get into competitive games in-house and let lads put their hand up again because with the matches over the last number of weeks lads didn’t get that opportunity. We were going from week to week so it gave everyone a chance
again to reset and go hard.”
In the other semi-final match, Dublin will take on Galway in Portlaoise at 7:30 pm. The outcomes of these matches will determine who advances to the final of the Leinster under-20 hurling championship.
