Kilkenny native Joseph O’Brien wins the inaugural Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship

Joseph O’Brien recorded a total of 12 winners throughout the series to win the overall prize valued at €3,000

Kilkenny native Joseph O’Brien wins the inaugural Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship

Recording an outstanding 12 winners throughout the eight Summer Series race meetings at Leopardstown, Joseph O’Brien was crowned the inaugural winner of the Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship, taking home €3,000 of Plusvital nutritional supplement or genetic testing products as a result of his win. 

Dermot Weld, Jessica Harrington, Aidan O’Brien and Jim Bolger filled the remaining top five places with a total of 29 individual trainers recording winners during the Summer Series fixtures at Leopardstown.

Formed in 1975, Plusvital remains a family-owned business with their products proudly manufactured in Ireland and reaching Plusvital distributors in over 30 countries worldwide.

Plusvital also generously sponsored four races at Leopardstown during the Summer Series, emphasising their commitment to horse racing in Ireland with Oneiroi trained and owned by Declan Buckley winning the Plusvital Handicap on Thursday, August 12.

Joseph O’Brien, winner of the Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship, said:

“We are delighted to win the inaugural Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship and winning an award such as a leading trainer is testimony to the hard work of all our staff and jockeys.
