There were celebrations in Kilkenny Rugby Club in Foulkstown on Saturday as the club won the J1 and J2 South East League Finals.
The J2 final had plenty of action and tries with Kilkenny storming to a 29-12 finish against Gorey.
The side included a large contingent of last years J1 team.
Kilkenny’s J1’s had a tighter contest to navigate however they held on to become 11-9 winners.
It’s their first South East League triumph since Pat Holden last captained Kilkenny to the title in 2007.
The club are targeting big things over the next few years and they’re off to a great start this season with two cups already in the trophy cabinet.
