Glanbia Sponsorship and Communications Manager Kieran O’Connor says that the Kilkenny squad always remained humble and grounded despite everything they have won.

Speaking to KCLR at the Press event ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Final, Kieran says that Brian Cody has ensured that the squads over the years have remained driven and focused.

He said “One thing that really stands out all of the time over the years I have been involved is the humility of the lads”.

“Everyone is so humble, everyone takes it in their stride, you are meeting guys 5, 6, 7, 8 9 All-Irelands and of course the manager himself typifies that and I think they are also grounded here, but also driven and Hurling is the number 1 sport in Kilkenny and definitely getting back to an All-Ireland Final was a huge achievement”.
