Kilkenny soccer player expects no changes for Sundays last 16 clash against France

Dave Mulcahy says he doesn’t think there will be any changes for Sunday’s last 16 clash against France and that Wes Holohan will play the role of impact sub again.

Dave who played against Wes in his league of Ireland days told KCLR that the humid conditions were a factor in keeping Wes in reserve for last nights victory against Italy.

“Obviously the coaching staff knew like Wes in on his other side of his 30s so it was going to be a big ask, the roof was on, humidity was high. So obviously, it was going to be a tough tough game over 90 minutes. They knew. He’s an impact player anyway but 20 minutes is key for a player like that and obviously it worked”

When asked about whether Wes will start on Sunday,

Dave says….

“I don’t think so. I think it will be something similar again. There going to have work as hard again. Can they get the likes back going again over the 3 or 4 days now? but I would say the team will be very similar to what started against Italy”
