Up first, siblings Kyle and Katie Jordan; the young local handballers picked up a number of medals at the World Handball Championships in Minnesota.
Hailing from Glenmore, Kenny Cottrell was part of the Team Ireland setup at the World Racketball Championships in Costa Rica.
Richie Ryan has been nominated for August on the back of an incredibly rewarding superbike season. The Kilkenny man claimed the 2018 Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship in Mondello, becoming the first rider to retain the crown.
