The nominees for the 2017 David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Awards for March are out!

Following Carrickshock’s win in February, March sees three new nominees covering soccer, camogie and hurling.

Here are your three nominees for March 2017. Voting is now open until 6pm Sunday 2 April.

Having broken through and cemented her place in the starting lineup of the Irish senior womens team, rising soccer star Karen Duggan was named 2016’s FAI Senior Women’s International Player of the Year in March.

Loreto Secondary claimed not one but two All-Ireland schools camogie titles in the past month, bringing both the Senior A and Junior A titles back to the Marble City.

St. Kieran’s College were crowned Leinster schools champions at the end of February, continuing their good run of form up to a fourth consecutive All-Ireland schools final against Our Lady’s Templemore.
