The nominees for the January round of the KCLR & David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Awards are in.
Following public nominations coupled with those of our sports experts and contributors, this month’s individuals cross hurling, camogie and gymnastics.

St. Patrick’s Ballyragget’s Joe Brennan has put in good inning with his club, earning a 2-2 haul against Tuarín to help seal a place in this weekend’s All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Final.
Kilkenny’s Miriam Walsh also continues to shine on the camogie front. Her performances of late helping Kilkenny to wins over Clare (1-13 to 1-30 and Dublin (3-17 to 3-5) and maintain their unbeaten start to the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1.
Representing all things gymnastics, Form 4 student at Kilkenny College Zahra Khodabacksh who took a personal haul of two gold and one silver at the All Ireland gymnastics meet earlier this month.
