U18 kilkenny stars girls competed in Basketball Ireland U18 National Cup at the weekend and for the first time have qualified to the quarter final stage which will be played in kilkenny at the end of November.
Under the guidance of coach Puff Summers the girls travelled to Belfast last weekend playing four tough matches against some of the best basketball clubs in the country.
The team are now competing at the highest level at their age group and have shown great team spirit and focused on the result they wanted to achieve making history for the first time getting to this stage in the competition.
