Paul Cummins is the recipient of February’s David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award.
The Kilkenny Storm ice and inline hockey coach pipped golfer Luke Donnelly and the Marble City Hawks to the latest round .
Paul was put forward and recognised for his continued dedication and promotion of ice hockey and inline hockey in Kilkenny. A large number of players at junior grade involved with Kilkenny Storm in recent years have progressed to international level.
In what can certainly be regarded as a minority sport in Ireland, the positive results and growth achieved by the club, its coaches and players, is well deserving of the recognition.
