It’s semi-finals night in the Leinster under-20 hurling championship tonight.

Kilkenny faces Wexford at UPMC Nowlan Park with throw-in at quarter-to-7 with KCLR in the stands for full commentary with Brendan Hennessy and Michael Walsh thanks to MW Hire. Tullamore hosts the meeting of Offaly and Dublin in the other semi-final.

Mark Dowling’s side has home advantage and thanks to the new format of this year’s competition, a chance to address an opening-round defeat to Wexford back in April.

Kilkenny team to play Wexford :

Stephen Manogue starts in the goal.

Padraig Lennon, Padraig Purcell, and Jeff Neary make up the full back line In the half-back line are Joe Fitzpatrick, Eoin Lyng and Paddy Langton

The midfield duo will be Glenmores Billy Reid and Emeralds Killian Doyle

Captain Luke Conellan, Timmy Clifford( Who never played in Kilkenny’s win over Antrim), and Cathal Beirne. Cillian Hacket, Georoid Dunne, and Harry Shine make up the full forward line.

There was hope Billy Drennan would be back in time for the match-up however he has not made the bench.
