The Kilkenny team to face Galway has been announced.

When the sides last met in the round robin stages, Galway very much had the upper hand, taking a 1-22 to 2-11 win.

The trip to Salthill was a tough one for the Cats who struggled to get out of second gear at times.

Will it be any different this time out on the hallowed turf in Croke Park?

We’ll find out at 4pm on Sunday as we bring you live coverage on air, online and in app.

Cillian Buckley captains this side that includes Paul Murphy, Conor Fogarty and TJ Reid, lead by a full forward line of Billy Ryan, Walter Walsh and Ger Aylward. Danesfort’s Richie Hogan is named on the bench alongside Colin Fennnelly, Liam Blanchfield and John Donnelly.
