Let the hunt for All-Ireland first round hurling tickets begin as championship hurling returns to the Marble City this weekend.

On the back of this morning’s draw we know that Kilkenny will be playing Limerick, the Cats getting home advantage.

As confirmed this lunchtime, the game goes ahead at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny this Saturday 1 July at 7pm and we’ll have live commentary on air on both frequencies as well as on kclr96fm.com and kclrfanzone.com.

Kilkenny GAA have announced the game will be an all-ticket affair with tickets sold on an unreserved first-come-first-served basis. There will be no facility to transfer inside the ground.

“Orders for stand tickets are presently being processed through the clubs. It is expected that tickets will also be available on-line and through the usual supermarket outlets. Season Ticket Holders will be contacted directly by Croke Park this week regarding procedures for this fixture”, according to kilkennygaa.ie.

Adult tickets are priced €15 with children €5. Students and OAPS must purchase full price tickets and obtain refunds at the designated stiles at Nowlan Park. Season tickets can be used to access the ground on Saturday via Stiles 14 to 17 along Hebron Road.

That’s not the only activity at Nowlan  Park on Saturday with the Camogie Association also confirming that reigning All-Ireland Senior Camogie champions Kilkenny will face Clare in a Group 1 clash at 5pm as part of a double header of GAA action for the evening.
