There was never a conversation about the 2011 homecoming song says former Kilkenny hurler John Mulhall

Former Kilkenny hurler John Mulhall says he doesn’t agree that Kilkenny and Wexford were two average teams that served up an epic hurling match in the Leinster semi-final.

Kilkenny won that game of course and face Dublin on Saturday in the Leinster final.

John told the Clash Act podcast that Kilkenny will be there at the business end of the All Ireland and the younger players are driving that on.

“I think Kilkenny’s young lads are flying it,” said John.

“Adrian Mullen is a big addition back, we didn’t have him last year, Eoin Cody is unbelievable, Tj’s flying it, then you have lads coming in the backs, like we haven’t gone anywhere I don’t think” he added.

Listen back to John’s full interview on the Clash Act below.

We have live commentary of the game here on KCLR with thanks to Laharts.
