Kilkenny’s David Grincell picked for junior Ireland international

Kilkenny man David Grincell has been included in the first Junior International Squad named on Monday by new manager Gerry Davis.

The squad has been selected for a junior international friendly against Northern Ireland at Tolka Park on Saturay 21 May.

Grincell, who previously lined out locally for Evergreen and Newpark, currently plays with St. Michael’s AFC in Tipperary.

The full squad is as follows.

  • Shane Clarke, John Tierney, John Boyle Janesboro FC- Limerick
  • Dean Carpenter, Daniel Matthews Collinstown FC-Dublin
  • Mark Townley ,Darren Murphy Kilbarrack United- Dublin
  • David Grincell, Aaron Wall St. Michaels FC- Tipperary
  • Ian Touhy Crumlin United (Saturday)- Dublin
  • Lee Murphy- Anthony Kavanagh, Mark Higgins, Sean Murphy Sheriff YC- Dublin
  • Matthew Byrne Glengad Utd- Donegal
  • Kieran Mc Daid Buncrana Hearts- Donegal
  • Ross Mc Gloughlin City Utd- Sligo/Leitrim
