Rising star of the Women’s National League, Ellen Molloy will be lining out at Ferrycarrig Park for the 2022 season.
The Kilkenny starlet has had two solid years with Wexford Youths and was announced on Monday as their latest player re-signing.
Named as WNL Young Player of the Year for 2020, Molloy hit the ground running for Wexford and the Republic of Ireland as the leaving cert student has already managed a handful of senior and Under 19 caps.
The former Thomastown United standout hit 14 goals for the Youths last season, capping things off with a Player of the Match nod in Wexford’s 3-1 FAI Cup final win over Shels.
Molloy is also back in the Ireland Under 19 fold as she’ll join Dave Scannell’s squad for a training camp ahead of April’s key European Championship qualifiers.
