Kilkenny Shed’s Davy Morris says they’ll come up against a different level when they play in the All Ireland Club Championships in January.
The local side won the Leinster club title for the third year in a row beating Wexford in the final.
Davy says they’ve been quite strong in Leinster but it will be a different story in Killarney in January.
He said “We’ve a very strong team for Leinster, a couple of years ago Wicklow had an excellent team with ex professionals Michael Judge, Robert Murphy and Jason Watson on it but at the moment they haven’t been entering a team”.
“We maybe are the strongest team by a long way in Leinster but when we go to the All Irelands, we have teams from Northern Ireland, the defending champions are Nenagh from Tipperary and Cork have won it two years in a row before that and that’s really where our big challenge will come, taking on the top two or three teams”.
