Cian Lynch is reportedly an injury doubt for Sunday’s All Ireland final against Kilkenny.
The Hurler of the Year has been wearing a protective boot earlier in the week after injuring his ankle.
He is the treaties main concern ahead of the announcement of their team tonight.
It is unfortunate news for the Patrickswell man who missed a most of the championship season suffering from a hamstring injury. He did manage to return to the panel for the semi-final win against Galway. He did manage to make an appearance in the 57th minute coming on for Tom Morrissey.
“It has been a privilege to be part of such an unbelievable group. It is different when you get an injury and you are watching on. But when you are so tight with the lads, there is such a flow. The last ten weeks flew with the rehab and getting through the phases.”
