Talking Dogs TV commentator Joe Sheahan gave us a breakdown of the results at last night’s greyhound racing in Limerick on Sunday Scoreline.
Sheahan revealed that it was a successful night for local trainers in one of Irish greyhound racing’s biggest events, the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial.
“In the second race with ‘Waikiki Bomber’ for Peter Cronin of Mooncoin in Kilkenny did well. He ran very strongly and finished second,” said Sheahan.
He went on to give Cronin further praise for his performance in the ninth race of the meeting.
He said: “Cronin’s ‘All About Ted’ had a great race last night. He won in a time of 28.74 and took home the prize money of €150.”
Talking Dogs TV were simultaneously broadcasting from Limerick and Shelbourne last night for the first time. Sheahan was complimentary of how well the coverage went.
“I really enjoyed doing commentary on the races.
“I was doing some interviews afterwards and I have to say that greyhound people are just great. They’re so insightful and it’s a testament to all of them that the races are going ahead.”
