Having done his first double in 2008/2009, it was history in the making for Jason Kane, captaining Palatine to back-to-back Carlow Senior Football titles against Rathvilly in Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday afternoon.
With the first half proving a tight affair, Palatine peeled away in the second half thanks to goals from David Reid and Ciaran Moran – those chances helping Pal to a 2-13 to 0-12 victory come the final whistle.
