It proved to be a tough day at the office for Carlow on Sunday as Niall Carew’s side fell to a second straight defeat.
Trailing at the break, Carlow were on the wrong end of a 0-28 to 0-05 result as they failed to get out of first gear for large swathes of the game as Sligo picked off easy scores to move to the top of Division 4 with results elsewhere really putting it up against Carlow when it comes to promotion this season.
