Carlow Senior Hurler James Doyle says that playing the likes of Galway and Waterford in next years National League is exactly what they train for.

Speaking to KCLR after defeating Westmeath in Saturday’s Division Two National League Final, James says they want to play against the very best.

“It’s going to be a big step-up, but that’s what we train for like so we want to be playing against the likes of the Galways and all that so obviously going to be so hard playing the likes of them, but that’s what we train for. Y

“I think coming into it we knew in other games it took us until the 2nd half to get going but we got a good start in the first half which was crucial and we knew going into the 2nd half it was a brand new game coming out.
