Billy Walsh says that it’s essential that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho gets the best out of Paul Pogba this season if they are to challenge for Premier League honors.
United play Leicester tonight in the opening game of the Premier League and Speaking to KCLR, the former Kilkenny City player/manager says that Mourinho has been playing him out of position a lot.
“Mourinho gets the best out of established stars, but he hasn’t done that with Pogba and people are comparing Pogba for France and Pogba for United, but for me they are two different things.
“You have N’golo Kante there and Greizmann and quality players like that, Blaise Matuidi.
“United don’t have those players and as a result he is not able to get the best out of Pogba because he seems to be playing him in the wrong position.
“Pogba is a World class player, he showed that during the World Cup, it’s up to Mourinho to solve that, and he hasn’t done it so far,” he said.
