Kilkenny Senior Camogie Manager Ann Downey says having a big panel is so important with all the injuries they have.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s National League Final against Cork, Ann says the newcomers have got great exposure during the League.
“For us at this stage, it was important we had such a big panel because we had so many injuries at one stage. The Farrell’s coming back from the club and trying to give Anna and Shelley time to recover from their injury and Edwina Keane had surgery on her knee so all those girls are still to come back so it’s great exposure, but especially for the new girls onto the panel.
“We had a brilliant game against Galway the last day and looking forward to this game against Cork on Sunday. It will be a real test of character for everyone”
