St. Andrews manager Hamish Beaton says this evening’s clash with Eire Og will be a good indication in their first game since been promoted from Intermediate last year.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of this evening’s game, Hamish is hoping that the confidence that the young players gained last year will be transformed for a crack at the Senior Championship.
“It’s a big jump for us and It will be a good marker for us.
“We are going out and think we have a chance. Like we trained hard, we are going in to win it and give it as good a lash as we possibly can.
“The young lads are confident, they won last year (Intermediate), so hopefully that confidence won’t be misplaced and we will give it a good go,” said Hamish.
