The draw for Round 2A of the All Ireland Senior Football Qualifiers has been made, and Carlow will travel to face the loser of Cavan or Tyrone who replay their Ulster Championship clash the weekend after next.
All of the Round 2A Qualifiers are scheduled to take place on that weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of July, but Carlow will have another week to wait for their game.
Manager Turlough O’Brien is looking forward to the game regardless of who the opposition is.
“Were going to be playing a top team regardless away from home, and it’s a tough draw but were really looking forward to it because you always want to test yourself against a big team, and now we have a chance to face a Division 1 team.”
