In the same situation not too long ago, Carlow needed to make the trip to Tullamore and come away with a win against Offaly while chasing a Joe McDonagh Cup final spot and they got the job done only for results elsewhere to go against them. Now, destiny is in their hands and a win would send the senior hurlers to Croke Park for a big day out later this month.
