Kilkenny head to Semple Stadium, Tipperary to take on Waterford in the second game of a hurling double-header on Saturday evening.
Last year the sides played out two of the best games of hurling in years, tying up their first semi-final clash before Kilkenny edged Waterford in the replay to set up an All-Ireland final with Tipperary.
