Still, a win for Jurgen Klopp’s side would be enough to send them top.
Boss Jurgen Klopp is taking charge for the 200th game today – but says he only wants to mark that milestone with three points.
“Winning a football game and winning against United, it’s enough in itself so there’s not necessarily anything special (in winning), we play at home against any team and we want to win and that’s all we have to think about as an extra add on,” said Klopp.
Kick-off at Anfield is at 4.30pm. Have a listen below to our Scoreline Presenter and life long Man United fan Shane O’Keeffe finally relenting and playing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” for all the Liverpool fans listening to KCLR.
