English Premier League

It has been the moment every Liverpool fan has dreamed of for the last thirty years.

Tonight that dream has become a reality, Liverpool will finally be presented with the Premier League trophy in the Kop. Red’s legend Kenny Dalglish will attend the ceremony however no fans are permitted inside the stadium for the match or the presentation as the event is strictly behind closed doors.

The trophy shall be lifted after Liverpool take on Chelsea who still have a Champions League place to fight for. Kick off is at 8.15.

Elsewhere, Manchester United continue their own push for a top four place. They welcome West Ham to Old Trafford. That game has a 6pm start.

Last night’s fixture seen Aston Villa put Premier League survival in their own hands. They beat Arsenal 1-0 at Villa Park last night to leapfrog Watford, who are now in the relegation zone after they were thumped 4-0 by Manchester City.

We know that Leeds are champiopns of the Championship but we may know who the second automatic promotion place in the Championship will go to tonight. West Brom host QPR needing to better Brentford’s result against Barnsley to join Leeds United in the Premier League.
