One Local man is basking in European Cup glory this morning.
Graiguecullen man Kevin Smith is a strength and conditioning coach with Stade Francais who last night won the European Challenge Cup Final with a 25-17 win over Gloucester.
Kevin is also a former past pupil at Knockbeg College where he won an All Ireland Senior Schools Football Final and still follows the GAA passionately after representing Laois at underage level.
He joined the club as a strength and conditioning coach back in 2011 and has since been promoted as the Head of Strength and Conditioning.
It’s onwards and upwards for the local man and hopefully his success continues…. Just as long as it’s not at Leinster’s expense!
