The Talbot Hotel Intermediate Football Championships continued on Friday night with two games taking place.

At Netwatch Cullen Park, junior champions Grange and Kilbride could not be separated in a tight encounter that finished Grange 0-10 to 1-07 Kilbride.

At the same time in the Pitch 1 Training Centre, a single goal was the winning of the game for St Patrick’s as they edged out Eire Og by 1-05 to 0-06.

In Group 1 of the Talbot Hotel Junior ‘A’ Championship, Ballon proved too strong for Old Leighlin who failed to register a score in a 2-12 to 0-00 defeat.

Group 2 saw the game of the night take place as Leighlinbridge came away from Tinryland with a deserved 3-08 to 2-06 win over the hosts.

In the Junior ‘B’ championship, Rathvilly were one-point victors over Fenagh at Fr Ryan Park on a scoreline of 0-11 to 1-07.
