The draws for the 2023 Kilkenny senior, intermediate and junior football league and championships were held in UPMC Nowlan Park on Monday night.
2022 proved to be a fruitful year for football in Kilkenny with Mullinavat progressing to the Leinster intermediate football championship semi-final, losing out to eventual winners Fethard St. Mogue’s. On the inter-county front, Kilkenny took to the new-look junior football All-Ireland series to claim a 3-12 to 1-9 win over New York in the All-Ireland final in Croke Park in July.
Now, the focus shifts to the county’s club series with the draws made for the adult leagues and the season ahead.
