Clogh Handballer Ciara Mahon feels that herself and Aoife Holden of Kilfane have improved as a partnership since coming together for the first time last year.

The duo are back in the All-Ireland Senior Softball doubles Semi-Final in Croke Park on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to KCLR Ciara says herself and Aoife are hoping to build on good results over the past year.

“This is our first year to be really playing doubles together and we reached the All-Ireland Final this time last year.

“That was our first kind of Championship together so this is our second round of Championship together.

“We will be hoping to build on our performances and we have gotten to know each other as players a lot more, and I think we feel more comfortable playing with each other so we can only to improve on that,” she said.
