Marble City Hawks Ladies Basketball Head Coach Julian O’Keeffe says their main aim at the start of the season was to get a good run in the Cup.
Marble City Hawks play Ulster Rockets in the Ladies National Cup Final in the National Stadium on Sunday, and speaking to KCLR, Julian is happy with how the season has gone.
“You always look for a good run in the Cup and it obviously depends on where they want to be in the League but also to get a good run in the Cup that’s the main focus at the start anyway. The ladies are actually doing much better than the men this year, but last year the men would have been more stronger if that makes sense, but it changes, it varies on personnel and stuff like that, so yeah we are quite happy the way things are going so far this year”
