IT Carlow had their first taste of defeat in the InsureMyVan Division 1 at the weekend when they went down to Limerick Celtics.
93-62 was the final score with Limerick’s Andre Wolford shooting 32 points and Ruairi Cronin getting 24 against the local side who were in fine form.
There was better news though for the Marble City Hawks who have struggled a bit up to this stage.
They were in action in the MissQuote.ie Division 1 where they got the better of Swords Thunder.
It was a very tight game with the local side coming out on top 53-49.
