Marble City Hawks Ladies Basketball Player Cassidy Williams says that the sport being more physical has been the biggest adjustment since she arrived in Ireland in early September

The Hawks play IT Carlow in Carlow on Saturday afternoon in a crucial Super League clash and speaking to KCLR, the American native has enjoyed settling in despite trying to adapt to way that Basketball is been played in Ireland.

She said “The transition has actually been pretty seamless, just because the girls are so wonderful to play with and I have just really enjoyed getting to know them and our chemistry and how we fit in well has been really good”.

“The only time where I have really struggled with the transition would probably be the style of play. Irish Basketball is very physical so that has probably been the biggest adjustment for me”.
