Carlow Athlete Marcus Lawler says it’s a realistic target to make next years Tokyo Olympics especially after his exploits in the recent World Student Games where he won a bronze medal.
Speaking to KCLR, Marcus says he is on course to achieve his dream.
He said “As we all know, sport isn’t that simple and it’s (Team Ireland) not being picked tomorrow, but it’s a really realistic goal now that I am in the position to be picked and to be ranked among inside the top 50 in around top 40 in the World is it’s just very much on a global scale to be right up there is huge”.
