Gowran Park General Manager Eddie Scally is expecting a massive crowd for today’s (Thursday’s) Thyestes Race Day in Gowran Park.
Speaking to KCLR, Eddie is advising people to arrive earlier with the big crowds expected.
“It’s a really good family day if people want to come out there, but it’s kind of geared towards the older market, the adult market”.
“All the entertainment and stuff for it, crowds wise, it gets bigger and bigger every year which is fantastic so we have added on extra car parking facilities, we have brought in extra car parking attendants so I really hope that people make a conscious effort to leave a little bit earlier”.
He said “We are expecting a massive crowd, we have ample car parking for everybody, but if they follow the instructions from the stewards, it will be so much easier”.
