St. Patricks Ballyragget manager James McGrath says unless they produce a massive improvement, they have no chance of defeating Glenmore in Sunday’s Intermediate Championship Quarter-Final.
Speaking to KCLR, James says they are aware of the threat of Glenmore from their League clash during the Summer.
“We had Kevin Kelly, and they didn’t have Ger Aylward and it didn’t stop them beating us 0-17 to 0-15. and scoreline that day to be fair didn’t reflect the dominance they had in the game. They beat us from top to bottom and we need a massive massive improvement to be even in the game.”
When asked about Glenmore been a team on form, James added
“Scoring 1-24 (in last Sunday Shield Final against Tullogher-Rosbercon) without the services of Eoin Murphy on the pitch, he’s their main orchestrator, they did that against Tullogher who came 2nd in a very competitive group, that’s sensational form, bar we play 10 or 15% above themselves, we won’t be in the reckoning, and that’s not blowing a team up, that’s just the way it is”
