Massive weekend of Championship action awaits Kilkenny and Carlow

Carlow GAA Cup

A huge weekend of Championship action greets Kilkenny and Carlow next weekend.

In Kilkenny the Senior League Final sees O Loughlin Gaels up against James Stephens next Saturday at 3.30 in Nowlan Park.

Before that the Shield Final sees Bennettsbridge up against Dicksboro at 2pm at the same venue.

On Sunday then the Intermediate League Final is also at Nowlan Park with Tullaroan facing John Lockes at 1.15 and before that Graigue Ballycallan face Lisdowney in the Shield Final at 11.45.

The first round Senior and Intermediate Championship games are scattered across Saturday and Sunday as well along with the Junior Quarter Finals.

In Carlow there’s Senior, Intermediate and Junior A Football Championship Semi Finals down for decision next weekend.

On Friday night the Junior A Semis are set to take place at the Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh.

St Patricks are up against Naomh Eoin at 7.30 and Palatine will face Fenagh at 8pm.

On Saturday there’s a double header at Netwatch Cullen Park.

The Intermediate Semi Final between Ballinabranna and O Hanrahans is first up at 4.30 and thats followed by the Senior Semi Final between Eire Og and Mount Leinster Rangers at 6 o clock.

On Sunday theres another double header at Netwatch Cullen Park with Kildavin Clonegal taking on Eire Og at Intermediate level at 4 and Palatine will meet Rathvilly in the second Senior Semi Final at 5.30.
