Loads of live sports to look forward to on KCLR this weekend, especially if you’re a fan of Hurling
First up tomorrow, Kilkenny travels up to the big schmoke, the capital, to face Mattie Kenny’s Dublin.
The Dubs manager spoke to DubsTV and seems confident and called on faces to come out and support their boys in Blue in Parnell Park.
“We were playing the Walsh Cup and saying we were getting ready for the league, we are now using the league to get ready for the Championship. It is about giving game time to guys, that is what we like. For young guys to come in and mark their mark, a lot of the senior guys will give a massive performance.”
“Kilkenny is coming to town and we are looking for a big full house in Parnell Park. The players appreciate that, so we are looking for them to term out in big numbers Saturday evening for Kilkenny.”
Dublin have been doing great in the league, last week besting Colm Bonnar lead Tipperary by a single point, after a victory over Antrim and draw with Waterford. Dublin also dominated Wexford in the Walsh Cup final to reclaim the title after a six-year absence.
