Kilkenny Intermediate team named for All Ireland Final

Meath Minor Hurling Manager Philip Lyons says things are looking positive for them to continue to progress.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) Leinster Minor Championship clash against Carlow in Carlow IT, Philip says that their current Minors have progressed superbly over the last few years.

He said “They competed in the Final of the Michael Foley Tournament in Wexford last year and just lost out by a point to our neighbors Wicklow so that gives us great confidence in the ability on the development side”.

“Last year this team competed in the Celtic Challenge which would have been a great competition for the second Minor age group and that has really given them the experience to compete at the Inter-County level so all things bode well to continue to progress”
